Lydia + Tori + Elise + Faith + Naomi + Jennifer | Philadelphia Portrait Session

This past weekend, Mister Keals and I took a  roadtrip to our favorite city to reunite with our favorite friends (more on our trip to come!). We got up bright and early to meet with this little crew for their sophomore session, which made me feel old because they’re about to be juniors, and then seniors, and then real nurses in the real world, and then I’m going to be one of those little old ladies who goes to bed at 10pm. Except that’s totally already a part of my daily life. Sigh.

Anyway, these girls are completely wonderful and never fail to disappoint me in outfit coordination. Show me your ways! I pay in Jolly Ranchers.

Check out their freshman session here! I’ll be over here growing gray hair and knitting you some wool socks.

Julie and Family

You might recognize this face – it’s Julie! We were roommates for three years and come October, she’ll be one of my bridesmaids. I love her dearly.

I’d waited all three years to meet Julie’s family and they finally came out to Philadelphia for our graduation! They were just as wonderful as I expected. They have an excellent family dynamic and aren’t afraid to poke fun at each other. Also, they have a chihuahua and a dog that looks like a wolf.

Casey + Ian + Logan + Matt

I’m so pleased to present you with some of my very best friends here at Penn. Three of them are roommates, and two are brothers! Can you guess which ones?

These four men have immensely impacted my time here and I am continually blessed by their dedication to serve others. Also by the food Ian prepares and brings to my apartment on a regular basis.

Another important point: two future doctors and one nurse in the mix here. Which means that there’s a high likelihood that one day they’ll be seen here again in scrubbies. Matt, we’ve got to get you into the medical field somehow..

Stephanie + friends

When Penn senior Stephanie contacted me for photos, I assumed it might be a regular portrait session, but I was wrong – she wanted portraits for her and nine of her friends!

Now, if you’ve ever tried to move around ten people, you know that you can’t expect to move far quickly. But. But. These girls were rearin’ to go in cap and gown and moved along so quickly. It was lovely.

World, take note! And get a little bit of dress envy from these beautiful graduating ladies.

Scotty

This Penn senior is graduating.. which means I will be graduating SO SOON! I can’t handle it.

Scotty and I met up at Penn Park after a day of checking the gray clouds and waiting for the impending downpour. Apparently we have eight hundred mutual friends and had yet to meet each other yet! Of course, it began raining right when we were supposed to meet, but Scotty champed it out and the sky returned to its weird gray grumpus.

ps if you’d like your own portraits before graduation, check out the 30 for 30 deal here.
